There's no question that human voice and human words are what babies need," says Dimitri Christakis, a paediatrician at the University of Washington in Seattle, who led the study. "The data are not yet conclusive about the fact that television is harmful, but they continue to mount." The analysis showed that for every hour of television an infant is exposed to – they don't understand television programmes, Christakis says – he or she hears 770 fewer words from adults, on average, a 7 per cent reduction. Infants watching TV also utter fewer "googoos" and "gagas" and interact less with adults than children whose parents use the off switch more enthusiastically. "Children over two learn a lot of vocabulary from television, that's very clear," says Anderson. "The real question comes with baby videos and that remains really controversial." Journal reference: Archives izvor: newscientist.com Znaci problem je u tome sto se deca tj. bebe koje su pustene da dosta dugo i cesto gledaju TV, manje izlozene recima odraslih i to dovodi do toga da oni manje i sporije nauce. Problem je kod dece ispod 2 godine starosti...Clanak sam kaze i navodi da kod dece starije od 2 godine, umereno gledanje TV, odredjenih programa, pozitivno utice na znanje i razvoj. Znamo i sami da postoji puno divnih emisija o prirodi i drugim stvari koje deca ne bi videla da nema TV. Znaci umerenost, i bitno je ne zanemariti dete dok gleda TV, nego pricati mu i igrati se sa njim istovremeno. To je neki moj zakljucak....
